• Tournament data: registrations, check-ins, match results, placements, no-show history.
• Team data: team names, emblems, member roster.
• Uploaded content: proof screenshots, team emblems, notes you submit.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, and device info via standard server logs for security and abuse prevention.

How We Use It

• Run tournaments: registration, brackets, check-ins, results, prize distribution.
• Communicate with you: match reminders, results, and admin notices.
• Enforce our Rules and Terms: detect cheating, harassment, and abuse.
• Improve the platform.

Who Can See Your Data

• Public: display name, avatar, gamertag, platform, bio, tournament placements, and team name/emblem.
• Only you: your Discord ID and Discord username tied to your profile.
• Staff: registration details you submit (Discord username, gamertag, notes, proof) for tournaments you enter.
• Team captains: roster contact info for their team only.

Third-Party Services

• Authentication: email/password or Google sign-in via our auth provider.
• Discord: if you link Discord, we receive the info you authorize (username, ID, avatar).
• Hosting & database: Neon Palms runs on Lovable Cloud infrastructure.
• We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

We keep account and tournament data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and enforce our rules. You can request deletion at any time (see below); some records may be retained where required by law or to prevent abuse.

Your Rights

• Access & correction: update your profile from your account page.
• Deletion: request account deletion by contacting us on Discord.
• Regional rights: depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional rights such as portability or objection.

Security

We use industry-standard authentication, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Children

The site is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site.
